What is the problem with county-wide voting? I am trying to understand the issues before I vote. Why should I vote no?

      Carmine,

If you vote to overturn the single member districts that we have now, you’ll be diluting your vote. The dark money and developers prefer at large voting because with their deep pockets they can afford the election advertising for the entire county while most others cannot.

We see the result in this campaign. Slick ads are coming from a Tallahassee PAC in favor of a county wide voting. Who has paid for these ads. You don’t see the slick ads against the amendment because they are too expensive.

Dark money at the local level is not the problem. Voting yes will increase accountability. How can total public support be a problem?!!!!!

Accountability is greatly increased with Single Member Districts. Your vote counts more in a smaller district.
