Soul Patrol members in Vietnam

Don’t miss the Winner of the Directing Award for US Documentaries at Sundance, Soul Patrol as it uncovers a largely untold chapter of American military history: the first all-Black special operations unit to serve during the Vietnam War and the lasting impact of their service.

Please join Florida Veterans for Common Sense in attending the Sarasota Film Festival’s showing of Soul Patrol, an untold story of Black Americans during the height of the Civil Rights Movement, fighting for a country that often denied them equality at home. The documentary is framed around a reunion of surviving unit members.
