For several years, we have collected personal property for the patients at Haley VA Hospital in Tampa. Last year, in addition to smaller items, we donated several flat screen TV/s for patient dayrooms.

Harry Stimmel has been our squad leader for this project. Now, Geoff Morris has picked up the ball after Harry moved to Texas. Geoff asks that members and supporters bring “wish list” items requested by the patients to our next meeting scheduled forThursday, November 21, 2013 at 7:00 PM, 1781 Dr. Martin Luther King Way, Sarasota, FL.

Most of the items are inexpensive so everybody can pitch in.

If you can not attend the next meeting on Thursday, November 21, 2013, contact Geoff to make arrangements to pick up the items. Geoff’s email is: geoffm@mwk-law.com

Every little bit helps a fellow vet. Of course, if you don’t live in the Sarasota, Florida area you can make a donation to FLVCS and earmark the funds for this project. If you have a question, contact the FLVCS treasurer, James Dirmann at: JDirm@aol.com
