Looking for COVID-19-safe teams of size 1-3 people to help put in plants at the Celery Fields. All holes will be pre-dug. Teams will loosen up the sides of the holes, un-pot the plants, and ease them into the ground while adding stockpiled soil and water. Volunteers will not be doing heavy lifting or exertion.
Bringing work gloves and drinking water are recommended. If you have a garden trowel, hand rake, or garden claw (3-tine cultivator), please bring it.

FLVCS Fund, Rotary Club of Sarasota Bay and START (Solutions to Red Tide) jointly manage the Sarasota Urban Reforestation (SURF) project. SURF is planting trees to prevent run off, filter pollutants, sequester carbon to combat climate change, and beautify the urban environment.
