Photo of Judge Robert Hinkle. He ruled for felons' voting right in Florida

Judge Hinkle rules for felon’s rights to let former Florida felons vote. FLVCS strongly advocated for Amendment 4, the Voting Rights Restoration for Felons Initiative, during the 2018 election. Further, in recognition of Desmond Meade’s initiative and leadership in leading the fight to restore felon’s voting rights and upholding the principles of Founding Father, Thomas Paine, FLVCS awarded Desmond Meade the 2018 Thomas Paine award. FLVCS applauds Judge Hinkle’s decision!
