Please come join us for the Jacaranda EcoPark Planting Event on Saturday, August 29, 2025 from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. We will be planting a Viva Florida Demonstration Wildflower Garden, which will be a major milestone for the EcoPark. Every volunteer will have the chance to apply seed and install small wildflower plants. We will also spruce up the park after a marvelous but wooly rapid-growth summer.

Please bring trowel, pruners, or hedge trimmers, if you have them.  No expertise is necessary. Training will be provided. Don’t forget to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. 

Please park at the Public Recreational Park of Indian Hills Blvd, if it is convenient. It is only a 5-minute walk away.

The Jacaranda EcoPark is an innovative nature-based park transforming previously unused land within the Jacaranda West Homeowners Association. The EcoPark, spanning approximately one and a half acres, is being systematically revitalized into a showcase for ecological stewardship and community engagement.
