Dr. Nathan “Nate” Barrick is a National Security and International Affairs strategic consultant with over twenty-five years of experience in supporting commanders, policy makers, and business leaders. He is currently the subject matter expert on Violent Extremist Organizations in the Plans Directorate of US Special Operations Command at MacDill AFB. In this capacity, he has been influential in drafting the 2018 National Strategy for Combatting Terrorism and the military’s Global Campaign Plan against Violent Extremist Organizations.
