Come join the fun at the Celery Fields Refresh Planting Day. All are welcome. No expertise needed. Just a willingness to pitch in.

The Celery Fields microforest has been hit hard with hurricanes, drought, and flooding since it was planted in 2020. While some trees are still doing well, many have not survived. So, FLVCS took on the task of not only restoring, but improving our first microforest. We have learned a lot in the subsequent planting of seven microforests and over 10,000 trees with more in progress. 

Bring a hat, gloves, sunscreen, and water. If you have a rake, shovel, or hand tools  they can be helpful too.
